ALOR SETAR: Several dive sites at two of the top diving destinations in the world — the Pulau Tioman marine park in Pahang and Pulau Redang marine park in Terengganu — are temporarily off-limits to divers and snorkellers until end-October.

They are among three marine parks — the other being Pulau Payar in Kedah — which are affected by coral bleaching, a phenomenon caused by global warming that has increased sea water temperature by 2°C to between 28°C and 29°C.

Marine Park Department director-general Abd Jamal Mydin said the affected dive sites in Terengganu were Teluk Dalam, Tanjung Tukas Darat, Tanjung Tukas Laut, Teluk Air Tawar, Pulau Tenggol and Teluk Bakau; and in Pahang they were Pulau Chebeh and Batu Malang.

In Kedah the affected sites are Teluk Wangi, Pantai Damai and Coral Garden.

Three islands in the vicinity of the Tioman marine park that have been temporarily closed are Pulau Regis, Pulau Soyak and Pulau Tumok in Pahang.

“The closure means that no diving and snorkelling activities will be allowed at the sites.

Underwater phenomenon: Coral bleaching takes place when the temperature of the sea increases due to global warming.

Last week wa ade terjumpe satu majalah kat 7E, majalah UJANG. Gilelah wa rase wa tak baca majalah ni since zaman sekolah lagi. So sementara tunggu basuh keta, elok jugak wa beli, takde la bosan.

Wa pun belek-belek UJANG tuh. Agak kagum jugak la coz masih wujud lagi kartunis-kartunis evergreen macam Bawang, Sukun, Lalang, Bacang, Bijan, Manggis, Lepat, Papan, etc. And masih lagi melukis watak-watak yg sama. Sukun dgn Workshop, Manggis dgn Katok, Bawang masih dgn kisah-kisah misteri beliau. Lepat still dgn Tok Moh.

My Prediction: Germany Win
Result: Germany Win
Comment: Germany chose to rest some players and give the others to feature in their final game. Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski were not in the lineup, instead Cacau and Thomas Mueller played as forwards. An entertaining game, I can consider it one of the best in the tournament. The game went into climax with Diego Forlan's superb freekick, which unluckily hits the post, which it were to go in then it would be another different story. The game ended Germany 3 - 2 Uruguay.

Holland VS Spain
So this is it! ORANJE vs LA ROJA! My FIRST team against my SECOND team! At this stage I dont mind who's winning, just hoping for an explosive match that will be remembered and being talked about over and over again thoughout the years to come.

My Prediction: Even though I knew that Spain will win but I just hope that Holland will do something extraordinary, just like what they did when beating Brazil in the quarter finals. I'm gonna go against Paul. Holland win.

Result: Spain win.

Comment: To be honest, I thought that the game was a lil bit peculiar, certainly not a classic, there were times when it was quite dull. Several golden opportunities that both sides failed to convert, forcing them into extra time. And Howard Webb made his own record by brandishing a total of 14 yellow cards.

The only goal came from Andres Iniesta in the 116 mins, assisted by Cesc Fabregas. I have to pick Iniesta as my man of the match, not only because of his crucial goal but also his partnership with Xavi which dominated the midfield. Last week wa and family lepak Sunway. Alkisah nye my mom got a promotional package from RCI. RM 600 for a week stay at Sunway Lagoon Resort suite. Murah la kalau tak mau beratus-ratus per night. Tak termasuk lagi servis-servis 'extra'.

So kitorang amik weekends, weekdays kitorang bagi la sape2 yg nak stay. Kalau datang CSI mau serabut nak pilih DNA tuh sebab penghuni bilik bertukar ganti.

Sabtu lepak SUNWAY LAGOON! PERGH DAH 8 TAHUN WA TAK MASUK! Padahal umah sekangkang beruk je, ade la 10 minit if bawak macam Shoemaker.

Dulu sekuat ingatan sereblum wa la, ade 2 park je, Wet Park & Dry Park. Tapi sekarang sudah ade 5, Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Scream Park and Extreme Park. Carpark dan Park Ji Sung tak termasuk.

Anyways utk tidak memeningkan kepala, kami amik je Ticket to All Parks.

Bukan tangan kami, mungkin tangan budak sekolah SK Raja Muda.

Dalam banyak2 manusia tuh adela bumped into orang yg kite kenal. Antaranye Dina Azureen, classmate waktu Darjah 6 dulu. It's been what, 13 years since we last met? Holy cow!

Then jumpe Amy cousin. Yang ni toksah cakap la mmg every week jumpe kot.

Pastu jumpe mamat mane ntah. Orang panggil die Nubhan. Katonyo oghang nogori. Dio pun lepak mapley. Manusio samo yo, bak kato oghang tuo2, bumi samo eh dipijak, langit samo eh dijunjung.

So berbalik pd topik asal, Dragonball ade 7 bijik semuanya. Eh apehal? Tak tak, Sunway Lagoon ade 5 parks semuanya. So we all try jugak la khatamkan in one day.

1. Amusement Park
Actually ialah 'Dry Park' yang dipolish skit la, most of the rides dah ade time wa datang 8 years ago. 3.5 bintang.

2. Wildlife Park
Just macam a mini zoo la, ade la menatang lebih kurang. 3.0 bintang.

3. Scream Park
Lebih kpd rumah2 hantu seakan-akan rumah hantu pesta Pulau Pinang Sg. Nibong, tapi ade class sikit la. Effect 3D yg dipakai is quite impressive, make up pelakon2 hantu pun OK la not bad. And bleh join expedition memburu terminators, that one have to pay seperately, RM10, but it's worth it. 4.5 bintang.

4. Water Park
Ni main park die lah, dulu 'Wet Park', now 'Water Park', ade artificial beaches, wave pools, slides, etc. Budak-budak sgt suke this part. 5.0 bintang.

5. Extreme Park
More on the 'extreme' side. ATV, go-carts, flying fox, paintball, wall-climbing, etc. Wa rase ni paling baru kot. This part more on the grownups, sebab mostly restricted to age above 18 only. Banyak benda diorang can improve on this. 4.5 bintang.

Edit: Kami pulang around 7pm dan lepak Sunway Pyramid, makan2, tengok movie 'PREDATORS' pastu layan WC third placing between Germany and Uruguay.

Comment: Look convincing for Holland, but one man made it hard, Diego Forlan. His equaliser cancelled Van Bronckhorst's screamer, out of nothing. Maybe its Jabulani's fault. The game ended Holland 3 - 2 Uruguay.

Spain VS Germany
My Prediction: Spain Win
Result: Spain Win
Comment: Since my 2nd team is Spain, i'll go with Paul the Octopus's prediction. Xavi and Iniesta was class. They controlled the midfield. A single goal from Carles Puyol is enough to bring Spain to the finals. Spain 1 - 0 Germany.

So it will be my no.1 against my no.2 in the finals, u think u'r the only one can predict Mr. Paul? Me also can la.

WC Quarter Finals

My Prediction: Holland Win

Comment: Upset of the round. Most bookies predicted for a Brazil win. But better performance by the Dutch in the second half sends the Brazilians home.

Uruguay VS Ghana
My Prediction: Uruguay Win
Result: Uruguay Win
Comment: Probably the most controversial match of the tournament, followed by Lampard's disallowed goal against Germany.

Argentina VS Germany
My Prediction: Argentina Win
Result: Germany Win
Comment: Germany outclassed Argentina. Quick counter-attacks, precise passes, rock solid defending, no chance for Argentina. Plus the Argie's defending was disastrous.

Spain VS Paraguay
My Prediction: Spain Win
Result: Spain Win
Comment: A game of penalty saves. On another day Spain could have lost. But they managed to win, the hard way. Even David Villa's goal struck the post TWO TIMES before reluctantly entered the net.
