MY BIRTHDAY EVENT # 4

Friday 28th May

Event: BON 85 Futsal
Venue: Aktif Futsal, Bandar Baru Bangi
Time: 11.00pm

Next event, BON 85 Futsal! Seperti lazimnye Birthday Boy perlu dengan rela hatinye mem'payung' rakan2 utk aktiviti futsal dan kali ni sampai giliran aku lak. So saudara Pijol Ismail telah dgn efisiennye telah mem'booking' court. Bab main2 free ni memang pantas.

Aku, Pijol and kawan beliau sampai awal. Nak dijadikan cerita, ade mamat from court sebelah main tak cukup orang. Short 3 player. So die nampak kitorang. Seperti telah nampak aura yg menyelubungi maka terus tanpa membuang masa menyambar kitorang utk join. Bleh tahan skill gak diorang main.

Then 11.15 diorang abis main, ngam2 time kitorang lak. So kami pun berlari-lari anak menuju ke court sebelah pulak. Antara ayat-ayat yg keluar time game:

"Suara beb, suara....."

"Idea tu dah ade, communication je"

Tapi serius best main dgn diorang, santai gile, kejar pun macam nak tak nak, rase mcm nak sepak pun ade, wakakaka, tapi skill tetap skill. And mesti ade gak la elemen2 gurau senda lawak jenaka ting tong masuk angin. Kelakar.

Pas main lepak mapley cam biase, sembang2 gosip panas artis2, planning tengok movie 'Andartu Terlampau' dan membincangkan kesinambungan novel 'Lagenda Budak Setan'.

Ting tong... Kepalaku bunyi ting tong? Sudah ting tong kah aku? Oh bukan, loceng rumah rupenye. Abul kat depan gate with her fiance Shida and his friend Deekay. Ade bungkusan plastik di belakangnye. Hmmm, mysterious...

"Tadaaa!!! Happy Birthday Apad!!!" Wah terharunye aku!!!

Event: Birthday Celebration With Abul-Hai And Co.

"La korang, susah2 je, masukla weh!" And kitorang pun have lunch same2, still aku tanak bukak kotak tuh, biar kasik saspen skit...

Then after lunch diorg suh bukak. Aku pun bukak, wah BLACKFOREST CAKE! Ni mesti Abul yg pilih nih. Tapi ade something else yg surprise me.

THE WORDING ON THE CAKE which says 'APAD GEMOK'! Hahaha demmit, pehal lak? BMI aku ideal kot? Pape je la, thanks guys!!!

Then kitorang melahap kek, tengok movie 'Avatar' kat home theatre tingkat bawah (sekejap jek), gi Plaza Alam Sentral layan karok jamban and menggolek bola bowling seround, best la weih!!! Sayang korang!!!

Event: Movie Time - Prince of Persia With My Man United Friends
Venue: GSC Tropicana City Mall
Time: 12.00am

So this is the 'agenda lain' I was talking about. ITS MOVIE TIME! Prince of Persia on the 1st day of release! (well technically after 12am its on the 2nd day already). List of attendees: Sid, Fazrin, Yo, Judin, Me, Fa+BF+sister.

Actually I dunno camne nak ke Tropicana City Mall from Sunway Pyramid, ade la sampai one moment I wished I had the ability to 'Reverse Time' sebab takut tak sempat to catch the 12.30 movie (Saje nak masukkan elemen ironi di situ).

Tapi berbekalkan kekuatan kuasa kuda Black Pearl aku dan ketepatan direction yg disumbangkan oleh Yo, sampailah aku di GSC jam 12.15am. Nice.

So we all enjoy la movie tersebut. A great movie indeed. The cinematic is cool. Plot is good. Effects are ok. Just a lil bit disappointed that tak banyak sangat 'Reverse Effects' yg digunakan especially in battles macam dalam the video game series. Rating 4.0.

MY BIRTHDAY EVENT # 1

Thursday 27th May

Event: Eating Out With My High School Friends
Venue: Hartz, Sunway Pyramid
Time: 8.00pm

Mokcik, Sarah, Rina, Shera and Potet invited me for my birthday celebration at Hartz Sunway Pyramid. Oh silap, the istilah should be 'pow'ed me. Haha...

Yang tak best nye, jalan jammed gile! Oh ye tomorrow's Wesak Day, everyone balik kampung for the 3-day break. Nasib baik Sunway je.

At last sampai jugak. Kitorang pun makan la kat Hartz tu, even though frankly we are quite disappointed with the choice of foods available, but its the friends gathering that matters.

Then ade la photographing session, not at Hartz, but Tony Roma as the background (tetibe je kan). Then Mokcik sengal coz bawak kamera low battery. Hampeh! (pics will be uploaded later)

Tapi tu bukan the highlight of the event. The highlight is, Shera membuat pengakuan berani utk karaoke sekiranye kitorang berjaya mencari pusat karaoke kat Sunway Pyramid tuh.

Ok ceritanye camnih, mula2 we all tak yakin ade karok kat Sunway tu (actually aku tau ade Redbox coz my cousins plan nak sambut my birthday sane this Saturday, but tak sure katne)

Then Shera (yg memang tak penah2 berani nak karok), dgn selambenye membuat statement, "Aku akan nyanyi if korang jumpe tempat karok kat Sunway nih" dengan konpiden nye beranggapan TAKDE tempat karok kat situ. Oh konpiden ye, siap ko.

Hah, aku and Potet laju mencari directory dan search kat section 'Entertainment', not ONE but TWO karaoke centres, Redbox and hape ntah satu lagi, wujud sebenarnye. Oh you should see the look on Shera's face, PRICELESS!!!

Sesi membahan Shera berlarutan sepanjang perjalanan ke Redbox. Shera, shera. Kesian pulak aku tengok ko. Tu la sape suruh konpiden sangat tadi, hambek sebijik.

Tapi last2 kitorang tak jadi gak coz takut tak sempat nak catch up with movie 11.45pm, instead kitorang lepak KFC jek. Then diorang tengok movie Bounty Hunter and aku bergerak ke Tropicana City Mall untuk 'agenda lain'.

Yeay!!! I'm officially 25 years old!!! Ok2 go check mirror. Hmmm nothing change. Oh wait I think I look 1mm taller than yesterday? Yeayyy!!!

So, I'm 25 now. OK. So what now. Hmm..... Actually I've targeted that, by 25, I have a 'real' girlfriend already. Hahahahahahaha lets have a big laugh on myself. "Ah why such a hurry? You'll find her sooner or later." Thanks Mr. C, I really need that.

Monday 24th May

Need to follow boss attending meeting at Penang. Damn I'll be missing the first episode of CSI:NY new season.

10.30pm
Arrived Penang. Having some late dinner (or supper?) at a seafood restaurant (not sure what its name). OK la, environment is good, siap ade different levels of huts where people can sit upstairs and eat while enjoying the view, even ade tempat where you can 'bersila' on the floor. The food is good too. I'll try my best to give full description of the place later on.

11.30pm
At Tok Ba's home. Try accessing Facebook thru mobile. Got around 20 new notifications. Birthday wishes for sure. Replied. OK, siap. Another 30 minutes to go.

25 on 25!!!

WOW!!! I had such a wonderful weekend!!! Everyday its just MY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!!! Altogether there were like 4 (or maybe 7?) EVENTS and 3 BIRTHDAY CAKES in TOTAL!!!

Perhaps this, TURNING 25 ON THE 25th MAY 2010 is my most unforgettable BIRTHDAY EVER!!!

Hopefully my mum tak perasan I was crying beside her. Or maybe she perasan? Coz time last part when Edward carving the ice sculptures tuh Mama ade tanye, 'mane die dapat the ices tu eh?'. Time tuh sgt la obvious nampak my eyes basah jek, demm, tak sempat lak nak cover, haha, biar je la, hikhikhik...

Orang laki nangis memang la loser.

Hari Belia Negara PART 3

Dah masuk Part 3, tapi tak sampai-sampai lagi.....

Ok, so wa pun hape lagi, cargas la. Perasaan wa? Jangan ditanye. Wa pun gerak ke Putrajaya.

Sesampai di Putrajaya, semua jalan masuk ke Precinct 2-4 ditutup. WTF? Tapi memang dah jangka pun. Wa try gak la tanye akak2 polisi tuh, just try my luck la, mane tau bleh masuk.

"Akak, saye ade terlibat dengan show, tapi pass saye ade dgn kawan2 saye, diorang dah masuk dalam, nak masuk bleh?", pintaku ditambah dgn muka kesian ala2 Puss dlm filem animasi Shrek tu.

"Tak boleh la, satu sticker satu kereta."

Baik madam. Wa mengalah, kang melawan, kena tembak sia2 idup. So alternatif terakhir wa ialah just park kereta kat 'Park n Ride' Precinct 1 and amik bas. Wa pun tak pernah lagi naik so consider ok la (nak sedapkan ati padahal).

So wa pun naik bas. Ingatkan direct ke Precinct 2-4, rupenye stop kat Masjid Putrajaya and perlu transit bas lain (bas yg lebih kecik, open-aired).

Best gak naik bas coz bleh rileks2, and at the same time bleh get the whole view of the events yg dianjurkan. Wa pun cadang nak lepak dalam bas tuh lama skit.

Kat area-area masjid tuh banyak la kereta tersusun, dengan pelbagai modifikasi, banyak gak dari kelab2 motorsport tanahair macam PROSBOC, SAVOC, etc.

Then masuk Precinct 2. Sebelah kiri Jom Heboh, ingat nak jumpe Amani comel tapi takpe la, pastu banyak la gerai2 sepanjang jalan tuh, jual baju, jual makanan, promo sane, promo sini. Depan sikit ade kereta2 exotic wat konvoi, lengkap dgn modifikasi2 dan dihiasi dgn vinyl2 pelbagai warna dan corak. Benda2 nih wa biase jumpe dlm Need For Speed je. Marvelous.

Ok so dipendekkan lagi ini cerita, wa sampai kat Presinct 3, actually jalan kaki skit from Precinct 2. And then wa nampak la booth tempat Auto Khanna Challenge tuh. Bersambung... (la sambung lagi...)

Hari Belia Negara PART 2

First time wa sampai Lim Kok Wing University. Before nih pernah tengok kat tv, drama cite ape ntah kat tv3. Wa park kat luar, takkan nak park dalam? wa bukan student.

Geng neo masih belum kelihatan. Wa pun lepak la dalam. Cantik jugak LKW nih. Time nih diorang ade event. Sambut anak felda ke hape ke. Ramai pakai baju hitam. Dress code AJK bertindak barangkali.

Ade makanan disediakan. Tapi walaupun wa lapar, takdenye wa nak sapu. Wa beli roti dan air jus mangga kat 'convenient store' diorang. Wa pun capai satu kerusi kat ruang legar tu dan lepak lah wa di situ.

Sampai event habis, tiba2 satu lagu dipasang, wa semacam pernah dengar lagu nih tapi dimana ya? Oh, rupenye lagu 'Tinggal Kenangan' tapi bukan versi Saleem. Perempuan nyanyi. Mungkin penyanyi asal.

Tunggu punye tunggu punye tunggu, bulan tak timbul2. Eh silap. Mane diorang nih? Wa pun SMS Mas, salah sorang club member.

"Di manakah anda?", ade sedikit bunyi kurang sabar di situ.

"Autokhanna Putrajaya", reply yg wa terima. Deymn.

Hari Belia Negara PART 1

Okeh hari nih wa nak celoteh dlm BM plak, bleh? apsal lak tak bleh? wa kan orang MELAYU. "Tapi orang melayu tak pakai 'wa', sepatutnye aku atau saye." Eh bising pulak Incek C nih sekali wa hentak lu baru lu tau. Orang tua-tua cakap budak kecik jangan masuk campur.

Okeh so memandangkan wa dah 1 minggu tak kasik hapdet ini blog, hape name blog ini, ah Kentang Goreng dan err Potongan Daging? bapak panjang. Wa pun hapdet la hape yg berlaku last wiken.

Sabtu 15 Mei
Actually wa ade event ini hari, Autokhanna Challenge dengan budak2 SNC wa sempena Hari Belia Negara 2010 kat Putrajaya, kitorang dijemput utk take part la dalam event nih.

So tepat jam 7 pagi wa pun gerak la. Berbekalkan azam dan semangat yang jitu, wa pun memecut Black Pearl wa menuju ke arah-arah Bukit Jalil gitu, sebab lokasi sebenar (R&R Seri Kembangan) wa kurang arif, bajet nak kamikaze la.

Nak dijadikan cerita, wa tak jumpa, senang cerita sesat la. Wa ingat nak seteret redah je Putrajaya tuh.

Dah sampai wa SMS Boy, leader kitorg. "Will meet u guys directly at Putrajaya".

Tut tut, 2-3 minit kemudian, enset wa bunyik. Boy reply. "How r u gonna get in without a pass?"

Ah ye tak ye jugak, event2 agung macam nih sure kena pakai pass punye, so wa diarahkan utk gerak ke Lim Kok Wing University utk meet up dgn diorg. Masalahnye wa bukan tau katne Lim Kok Wing tu, sape Lim Kok Wing tu? Lawyer? Ahli majistret? Ah gamble ah.

Wa gerak ke Cyber, ingat nak cari sendirik dgn mentaliti "ah bukannye besar sgt pun Cyber nih". So wa pun cari lah. Banyak jugak IPT kat Cyber nih rupenye. Tapi malangnye dalam banyak2 IPT tuh LKW masih belum kelihatan.

Wa putus asa dan stop kat satu kedai makan, mapley sebenarnye, tanye kat mane lokasi sebenar LKW, nak tanye koordinat GPS, bukan bawak GPS pun. Tambahan plak mapley mane pakai GPS, kecuali la diorg ade perkhidmatan hantaran atau 'delivery service'.

"Kami baru lagi sini. Kedai baru saja bukak. Saya tak tau", jawab ane tersebut tak bersalah. Rilek la ane, wa tanye jalan je. Wa pun meninggalkan kedai tersebut, hampa.

Takpe takpe wa cari mangsa lain. Tarak hal.

Wa jalan-jalan sikit pastu sampai kat satu kawasan rumah ala-ala resort gitu. Ade pak guard. Wa tanye. "Nak tanye jalan. Kat mane Lim Kok Wing University ye?"

Pak guard tu masuk pondok tanye member, lame la jugak. Wa dah risau. Pastu die keluar, dan berkata, "1, 2, 3 traffic light, right." Tu je? Bincang bukan main lama. "Ok2 tenkiu", wa jawab.

Dan 2-3 minit selepas itu wa pun sampailah di Lim Kok Wing University itu.

Venue: Kayu Nasi Kandar Ampang
Time: 11pm

We won. 4-0. Yeay. Despite winning, we lost the title. To Chelsea. They won as well. Not just winning, they MURDERED Wigan Athletic. 8-0. Okay. Bye.

Sizzling Dazzling Night

Saturday 8th May
(activities between 8.00am to 8.00pm were reported missing)

Got SMS from Mama, "Baba ajak makan luar 8.30pm..wanna join?" Of course! Initial plan was to eat at our family's favourite spot, Naluri Cafe at Section 9, but tutup la pulak! Then Mama text me, "Change of plans...itm hotel". So I drove straight to UiTM Hotel.

Normally I would go for lamb chop (haha) but I ordered 'Sizzling Dazzling' instead. What is it? Steak je la. Served with mint sauce and salad. The steak is seasoned to perfection, tenderly cooked, the sauce is nice too. Wash it up with honeydew juice. Heaven. Then Mama urged me to try her Cafe Latte. It is served in visible different layers. The aroma of pure coffee stimulates my senses. I took a sip. Then one more sip. And again. And again. No wonder it cost RM7.90, it really is good.

9.30pm
Went to Concorde Hotel for some 'Live' band performance. A group of trio sisters singing + 2 guys playing percussion (guitar and keyboard). To be honest, all of them can really sing! Interesting choices of songs, from classics to new, mellow to fast-beat, just name it!

Tapi mamat guitarist tuh memang gempak la wa cakap lu, a local lad, sekolah kat SMKSSAAS tu je, dia goreng lagu Hotel California and Black Magic Woman tanpa belas kasihan beb, seriously I was mesmerised with his skill. No wonder my parents love this band and selalu datang, sampai diorang pun dah cam our group, haha.

Ok wait, I just have to jot down something, one of the qualities to be added to the list, 'enjoys live musics', ok, got it. What list? Hahaha....

Saving Some Braincells

End of last paper (Project Management), leaving the exam hall, some smile-smile goat, some sumpah-menyumpah lecturer, some dah macam zombie due to lack of sleep or jammed brain cells, macam-macam, most importantly, exams dah habis. Me? maintain cool.

2.45 pm
Went to Bukit Raja, catching up with new movies. Took 1/2 an hour to decide which. Conflict at counter (no student discount for blockbusters, sigh). In the end we watched THE LOSERS (non-blockbuster). It's about a military team who called themselves LOSERS on how they get their revenge after being betrayed by the US Military. Not bad, the flow of the storyline was quite smooth, the plot was arranged cleverly, good combination of characters. 4 out of 5.
